Karuna Gopalapillai is the Broker of Record and the CEO for HomeLife Galaxy Real Estate Ltd. Brokerage. He has more than a decade and a half of professional and personal Real Estate experience. He’s a family oriented man with strong values and lives in Ajax with his wife and three kids.
Karuna began his real estate career in 2002 as a Real Estate Sales Representative and soon received his Broker’s license. He began his real estate journey by joining Century 21 Affiliate Realty Inc. Brokerage & later on moved to Re/Max Vision Realty Inc. Brokerage where he worked for more than 8 years. Shortly after, he owned and operated his own real estate brokerage as the Broker of Record & CEO for Century 21 Rouge Realty Inc. Brokerage. At Homelife Galaxy Real Estate Ltd. Brokerage he serves as an instructor, trainer and CEO. In the field of real estate, he has been awarded various achievement & recognition awards by Century 21, Re/Max and Homelife for excellence in sales.
In addition to real estate offices, he has also owned and operated a Centum Mortgage office before. He’s also one of the Managing partners at Galaxy Communities that builds and develops custom built homes, townhomes and condominiums.
Karuna earned his Diploma in Electronics Engineering from Centennial College in Toronto. He spent 5 years working at AlarmForce Industries Inc. which is a Canadian based home security and home automation systems manufacturer and provider where he put his education to use. Working in a competitive industry such as this, he developed unique and creative marketing strategies that he now applies to the Real Estate industry. Karuna is a visionary, constant thinker and loves to keep the brokerage updated and up breast with state of art and cutting edge technology.
He also believes in giving back to the community. He supports various noble causes namely Hospital for Sick Kids, Run for the Cure, The World Peace Marathon and many more. He helps Help2Learn, a non-profit organization to run an afterhours school program for kids from grade 2-8 to build their self-image, self-confidence and leadership abilities.
