Australia's Most Expensive Apartment Hits The Market for AU$66 Million
A beautiful penthouse located in Sydney, Austrailia can soon become the country's most expensive apartment. The property is listed by developer John Boyd. He is selling his property for AU$66 million.
The one of a kind penthouse is located on the top three floors of the ANZ Bank building. According to listing agent Bill Malouf, it is the only apartment that he knows of that sits in a full commercial, high-profile building.
He mentioned that there are many Australians who are unaware that this even exists and there is nothing else in the country that compares with this penthouse. The four bedroom, 2400 square foot penthouse has a marble kitchen, a conference room, a gym, a wine cellar, a private rooftop terrace with a swimming pool. Breathtaking views of Sydney's Central Business District can be seen from the penthouse. The apartment is accessed by a private lift.
Interior designer Blainey North created a look with mixed metals and white finishes in the penthouse. It has more than 200 pieces of art deco furniture. This apartment will be set to beat the previous apartment sales record if it sells for its asking price. The previous apartment sales record was set by casino mogul James Packer. He purchased a penthouse in Crown Resorts for AU$60 million. The penthouse is yet to be built.
